Quality of Goods/Fitness for Purpose: Please note that eBooks-UK cannot be held responsible for problems which are due to the limitations of the customer's software or hardware, or knowledge thereof. Any files supplied as MobiPocket, Microsoft Reader or Adobe Acrobat files are warranted only if, and to the extent of existence of, the applicable manufacturer's warranty and are distributed by eBooks-UK on an as-is basis without warranty by eBooks-UK. eBooks-UK does not warrant that the operation of any programs or files will be uninterrupted or error free, or that all programming or compilation errors will be corrected.
Responsibility for Local Taxes and Duties: The customer is responsible for all local taxes and duties.
Bulk email Policy: From time to time eBooks-UK may e-mail you with special offers. These offers are usually only available to our existing customers and often offer very special deals. Most customers enjoy receiving these e-mails, but if you would prefer to opt out please let us know by sending an e-mail with the title "opt-out".
Security of Credit Card Payment Options: Customer satisfaction is a crucial part of our business ethos. To this end, site security is very important to us. When you do business with eBooks-UK on-line you can rest assured that it is safe. In conjunction with WorldPay all transactions are handled on a secure server. If you use a secure browser such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Netscape, your credit card deals will be encrypted (you will see a lock or key at the bottom of the screen and instead of the usual http in the url address you will notice it says https, which means the transaction is being carried out on a secure server)
Applicable Law / Courts of Jurisdiction: All matters pertaining to this agreement shall be governed by the laws of England.
Retention of Title: All goods remain the property of eBooks-UK until paid for in full.

If your download does not complete correctly, simply save the page

eBook formats
Our downloadable publications are currently supplied in one or more of the following file formats: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf), Microsoft Reader (.lit), MobiPocket (.prc) eBook file formats.

Some downloads are available in all three formats. We may provide other file formats in the future, as the technology becomes available.

Desktop, Laptop & Notebook PC's
These eBook formats can be read on all standard desktop, laptop, and notebook PC's running Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP/Vista operating systems. You need to download the free software for the particular file format you wish to use, if it is not already on your computer. These file formats can also be read on MacOs operating systems.

All our eBooks are supplied in the form of Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) files. Some are also available in Microsoft Reader (.lit) eBook files or MobiPocket (.prc) files. Most eBooks are available in both formats. You need the Acrobat, Microsoft Reader or Mobipocket Reader software to read our eBooks. These can all be downloaded free.

These formats are suitable for standard desktop, laptop, and notebook PC's running Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP/Vista operating systems. They can also be read on Apple Mac PC's running MacOs operating systems.

Our eBooks can also be read with the correct vesion of Microsoft Reader on Tablet PC's, PDA's and Pocket PC's with Pocket PC 2002, Pocket PC 2003, Pocket PC 2003 Second Edition, Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows CE operating systems.

Handheld devices

Adobe Acrobat files can be read on ANY PDA - but you need to download and install the correct version for your device.

MobiPocket eBooks can be read on ANY PDA OR PALMTOP device.

Microsoft Reader files can be read on PDA's and Pocket PC's running Windows CE/Pocket PC, Windows Mobile 5.0, and any updates or new versions of these operating systems.
